Beauty and the Beast: a classic tale where the moral of don’t judge a book by its cover comes into play. Belle is a bright young women who is taken prisoner by a beast. She finds that the castle is bewitched and almost every item is enchanted. Despite her worries, she befriends the mysterious staff. Through friendship, Belle learns to look beyond the Beast’s exterior and discovers the kind heart, and the caring soul of the true prince within.

The new action film version of the classic Disney story, starring Emma Watson, and Dan Stevens, brings the romance. the fear, and the magic to life. The movie was directed by Bill Condon, and was released on the 17th of May. It made its appearance on Netflix on September 19th of 2017.

During her interview with Flicks and The City, Emma Watson said, “I just fell in love with Belle. She was this feisty young women. Who spoke her mind, and had all of these ambitions, and was incredibly independent, wanted to see the world, and was so smart.”

Emma additionally states that as a child she loved Disney, and now as an adult she still loves Disney.  It connects you with that childlike feeling that everything is going to be okay, and that there is hope in the world, and for her it gives her a feeling of relaxation. Emma says that she was in shock and was freaking out when she found out that she was going to be the next Belle.

The new Beauty and The Beast movie was a great remake of the 1991 classic. If you haven’t seen the movie already I recommend that you find the time to go watch it!

Fuller House is a spinoff on the sitcom Full House, which premiered September 22, 1987 and ended on May 23,1995. Fuller House brings back most characters and now revolves around Kimmy, DJ, and Stephanie’s lives. The eldest of DJ’s kids is Jackson. He is in eighth grade along with Kimmy Gibbler’s only child, Ramona. DJ’s second oldest child is Max who is in fourth grade. And the youngest is Tommy. He is just one year old. The show brings out problems in the families, such as trust issues, loss of a family member, fitting in, and not being able to have a child.

DJ Tanner is a mother of three boys and is a recent widow. DJ’s sister Stephanie, her best friend Kimmy and Kimmy’s daughter move in to help her raise her family. So the house is now a lot fuller, which is why the show is called Fuller House. The show is on Netflix and has recently been updated to Season 3!

I very much enjoy the bond that all the characters have throughout the show. There are family bonds, friendships, and romantic relationships. Family is definitely forever and that comes out within this show. Family is the people who stick by you when you are in a time of need. They don’t have to be blood related to be family. This show definitely brings these statements to a reality with its many touching moments
